It’s a one day drive for me. Could get there, buy the car, and be back in less than 16 hours.

Any time something breaks you have to order replacement parts from europe. Unless you live near a dealership that specializes in Peugeots like there is near me.

Because it needs a manual transmission. And I am not manual-transmission-obsessed. Otherwise, it’s a handsome car.

Damn that’s clean. You should look at it. Can’t tell if it has the rear facing seats, which would make it even rarer.

It’s not a maroon diesel wagon! Near SF it’s not a hard car to own, they sold them here and there are a couple mechanics that specialize in French cars. I talked to an SF French Car Club member once.

I was interested in getting the 505 V6 sedan or a 405 mi16 with a manual transmission. They are rare here in the us, very rare. But, at this point it might be smarter to go with a european import in my case. You get the euro bumpers and lights and in some cases more power due to the absence of a cat. But, $$$

I don’t want to influence you, but... do it! The world needs more 505s on the road.
Only negative point is the fact it’s an auto.

Nice :) I’d say go for it.
The estates were a little different in design to the saloons. They traded semi-trailing arm IRS for a live axle with twin shocks. More rugged, but slightly less lively.
